Welcome to Aly Packaging. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website at alypackaging.co.uk and all purchases of custom packaging products and related services provided by Aly Packaging (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By placing an order, submitting a quote request, or using our website, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms in full. Please read them carefully before proceeding. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not place an order with us.
Aly Packaging operates as a custom packaging manufacturer and supplier based in the United Kingdom.
In these Terms, the following definitions apply:
All quotations provided by Aly Packaging are valid for 14 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotations are subject to change based on material cost fluctuations, quantity adjustments, or changes to artwork specifications.
All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP). Prices are exclusive of VAT unless expressly stated otherwise. VAT will be added at the current applicable UK rate at the time of invoicing.
Minimum order quantities (MOQs) apply to all Products and will be clearly communicated at the time of quotation. Orders below the stated MOQ may be subject to a small-run surcharge.
Rush order requests are accommodated at our discretion and are subject to additional charges. Rush order pricing and lead times will be confirmed in writing before production begins.
Orders may be placed via our website, email, or telephone. An order is not confirmed until you have received written confirmation from Aly Packaging and a deposit or full payment has been received.
Upon receipt of your order and payment, we will issue a written order confirmation. This confirmation constitutes a binding contract between Aly Packaging and the Customer.
Any amendments to a confirmed order must be requested in writing and may not be possible once production has commenced. Additional charges may apply to accommodate changes requested after order confirmation.

Customers are responsible for supplying print-ready artwork in the correct format. Recommended specifications include:
We perform a basic file check on all artwork received. However, we do not verify spelling, grammar, design accuracy, or legal compliance of content. The Customer is solely responsible for the accuracy of all artwork and text.
A digital proof will be provided for Customer approval before production commences. Production will not begin until written proof approval is received. By approving the proof, the Customer confirms that all details — including dimensions, text, colours, and design — are correct.
Aly Packaging accepts no responsibility for errors in the final product that were present in the approved proof, including but not limited to spelling mistakes, incorrect dimensions, or colour inaccuracies arising from screen-to-print variation.
Due to the nature of the printing process, minor colour variations between screen previews, digital proofs, and finished Products may occur. These variations do not constitute a manufacturing defect. Pantone colour matching is available on request and may incur additional charges.
By submitting artwork to Aly Packaging, you confirm that you own or have the legal right to use all elements of the design, including logos, images, and trademarks. You grant Aly Packaging a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use the artwork solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order.
Aly Packaging reserves the right to use completed packaging samples in our portfolio and marketing materials unless you explicitly instruct us in writing not to do so.
The following payment terms apply unless otherwise agreed in writing:
We accept payment by bank transfer (BACS), credit/debit card, and other methods as confirmed at the time of order.
Invoices not settled by the due date will incur interest at a rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel orders for accounts in arrears.
Credit accounts are available for qualifying business customers at our discretion. Credit terms and limits will be confirmed in writing. We reserve the right to withdraw credit facilities at any time.
Standard production lead times are typically 7–15 working days following proof approval and receipt of full payment (or deposit, where applicable). Lead times are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing as a firm commitment.
We offer free delivery within the UK for qualifying orders. Delivery timescales will be communicated at the time of dispatch. Aly Packaging is not responsible for delays caused by courier services, customs (for international orders), or factors beyond our control.
For orders shipped outside the UK, import duties, taxes, and customs clearance charges are the Customer’s responsibility. Aly Packaging will not be liable for delays or costs arising from international customs procedures.
Risk of damage or loss passes to the Customer upon dispatch of the Products. Title to the Products remains with Aly Packaging until full payment has been received.
The Customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Aly Packaging accepts no liability for non-delivery or delay resulting from an incorrect address provided by the Customer.
We take pride in delivering high-quality custom packaging. All Products are manufactured and inspected in accordance with our internal quality standards.
Any claim for defective, damaged, or incorrect Products must be submitted in writing to sales@alypackaging.co.uk within 7 calendar days of delivery. Claims must include:

If a valid defect claim is accepted by Aly Packaging, we will at our discretion offer one of the following remedies:
As all Products are custom-manufactured to individual specifications, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds where the delivered Product matches the approved proof. It is essential that you review your proof carefully before granting approval.
Due to the nature of the printing and manufacturing process, an over-run or under-run of up to ±5% on the ordered quantity is considered acceptable and does not constitute a manufacturing defect. Invoices will reflect the actual quantity delivered.
All design templates, manufacturing processes, website content, and proprietary materials developed by Aly Packaging remain the exclusive intellectual property of Aly Packaging. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our materials without prior written consent.
Customer-supplied artwork remains the intellectual property of the Customer. Aly Packaging will not use your artwork, logos, or designs for any purpose other than fulfilling your order without your express written permission.
Both parties agree to keep confidential all commercially sensitive information exchanged in connection with an order, including pricing, design specifications, and business plans. This obligation survives the termination of any order or agreement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aly Packaging’s total liability to the Customer in connection with any order shall not exceed the total value of that specific order.

Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other matter where exclusion is prohibited by law, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where applicable.
Aly Packaging shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, supply chain disruptions, or industrial disputes. We will notify you promptly of any such event and endeavour to fulfil your order as soon as reasonably practicable.
Aly Packaging is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. By placing an order, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, available at alypackaging.co.uk/privacy-policy.
We will not sell, share, or disclose your personal data to third parties except where required to fulfil your order (e.g., courier companies) or where required by law.
These Terms and any disputes arising from or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Aly Packaging reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published on our website at alypackaging.co.uk. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.
These Terms, together with any written quotation and order confirmation issued by Aly Packaging, constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings. No variation to these Terms shall be effective unless agreed in writing by a director of Aly Packaging.
