Drinks travel through a lot before they reach a shelf. They’re stacked, cooled, lifted, and stored. We’ve seen beverage boxes collapse under condensation and labels rub away in transit. Those mistakes cost more than materials, they cost confidence. That’s why our process starts with understanding how your products move. We look at the route they take, where stress builds, and what temperature or humidity they face. Then we design beverage packaging that holds up, even when conditions don’t. Condensation is the most common cause of beverage packaging failure that doesn't happen in transit - it happens at the point of refrigeration. A chilled bottle or can brought out of cold storage into a warmer environment produces surface moisture that saturates uncoated board within minutes, causing the base to soften and the side panels to lose structural rigidity. Two things prevent this: a moisture-resistant barrier coating on the inner surface of the board, and corrugated construction where an air gap between the inner and outer liners slows the rate of temperature transfer to the board. We specify both against your product's chilled storage requirements.

What UK Alcohol Labelling Reform Means for Your Custom Beverage Packaging Box Design 

UK alcohol labelling regulations are in a period of active change. Following post-Brexit divergence from EU rules, the UK is introducing mandatory ingredient and calorie labelling requirements for alcoholic beverages, with industry guidance phasing in from 2026 onward. For breweries, distilleries, and other alcohol producers, this means the outer packaging box needs a defined panel that accommodates this information alongside existing mandatory statements such as unit count, ABV, and allergen declarations.
